Course description

Retention is more than a human resources metric. It is a competitive advantage that begins with creating an environment where all employees feel respected, valued, and supported. This six-week course provides the frameworks, tools, and strategies needed to strengthen the employee experience through more inclusive practices. You’ll explore how inclusion and fairness can be embedded across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, career development, and advancement. Through real-world case studies and practical activities, you will learn how to assess your current environment, identify gaps that may be limiting employee persistence, and design initiatives that truly make a difference.

By the end of the course, you will create an onboarding strategy or workplace policy that can be implemented within an organization. Whether you're in HR, a leadership role, or a team manager, this course gives you the confidence and knowledge to build systems that support long-term employee persistence, success, and organizational growth.
