Course description
The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0 program helps protect sensitive unclassified information shared by the U.S. Department of Defense with contractors and subcontractors. It provides greater assurance that industry partners are meeting cybersecurity standards tied to federal acquisition systems.
This course offers a high-level introduction to the CMMC 2.0 model and the Certified CMMC Professional (CCP) exam process. Designed for IT professionals with 1–2 years of experience, the course builds foundational awareness of how the CMMC framework works, what types of information it’s designed to protect, and how it fits into the broader compliance environment.
You’ll explore the scope, roles, and terminology associated with CMMC, and become familiar with key components of the CCP exam without needing to pursue certification immediately.
