RIT Certified Launches New Digital Credentialing

January 2024 marks the soft launch of a new digital badging program for RIT Certified students. Now, people who successfully complete courses and mastery certificate programs can earn an RIT Certified course and mastery certificate digital credential through the Credly platform.
Why Get a Digital Credential?
By providing a secure digital representation of RIT Certified courses and mastery certificates, our students can more easily manage, share, and make use of their credentials within their networks, across social media platforms, and on their resumés. This digital image contains verified metadata that describes a person’s qualifications as well as the process, validation, and rigorous assessment required to earn them.
At the core of our mission, RIT Certified works closely with employers to ensure that the skills they seek when evaluating potential talent and the skills we teach are one in the same. For employers, our new digital badges make it easy to identify people with the skills they need to perform in a particular job function, and to verify that those skills are relevant and up-to-date.
