AI Brand Messaging: Custom Assistant Studio

RITx Course
WRK-AIAP-1008

A guided build studio to create and test a custom messaging assistant for your use case—so you leave with a saved configuration that improves cohesion and speed.

In-Person
4 Hours

Description

Build a custom AI assistant designed to support your brand and messaging work. In this guided studio, participants create a working assistant shaped by their own voice, use cases, and communication needs so they can use AI more reliably in real messaging scenarios. Together, we define the assistant’s purpose, shape its prompting structure, and create a tool that can support clearer, more repeatable communication work beyond the session.

Participants define voice rules, audience context, key points, and constraints; incorporate examples and references that improve reliability; and set up review checks that reduce tone drift and risky claims. As they build, they troubleshoot common breakdowns—off-voice output, vague language, inconsistent versions, or unsupported claims—and apply fixes that improve quality more efficiently. The emphasis is on hands-on application: capturing what works in a reusable configuration that can be refined over time and carried across channels and contributors.

Participants leave with a configured assistant, a working setup, and a clear plan for where to use it first.

Outcomes

Each outcome is taught through applied practice, so you can use the workflow immediately.

  • Apply the workflow to a real messaging need
Use your own use case to move from inputs to drafts, refinement, variations, and next steps.
  • Configure a messaging assistant
Set up voice rules, instructions, constraints, and examples so the assistant produces more reliable outputs.
  • Create on-voice variations
Generate versions across audiences and channels while maintaining voice, key points, and tone.
  • Troubleshoot common breakdowns
Fix issues such as off-tone output, drifting content, unclear claims, or inconsistent messaging across versions.
  • Make the setup reusable
Save what works into a practical configuration that reduces drafting time and supports ongoing refinement.
  • Leave with a next-step plan
Identify where to use your assistant first, what to observe, and how to keep improving results after the workshop.

The Learning Experience

This in-person, 4-hour Custom Assistant Studio is hands-on and implementation-focused. It’s best if you’ve completed AI Brand Messaging: Applied Workflow, or already feel confident providing clear inputs and constraints. Bring a laptop and a paid account for Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, or ChatGPT (OpenAI) so you can build and test during the session. You’ll work on your own use case with 1:1 instructor guidance and leave with a working assistant you can start using immediately.

For Teams & Employers

We offer private Custom Assistant Studios for teams ready to implement real messaging use cases. Private delivery allows us to align to your channels, tools, policies, and approval norms, use your real scenarios, and create shared assets (voice rules, examples, review checks, assistant instructions) your team can reuse. Teams often use this format to accelerate implementation and leave with a configured assistant that improves alignment across contributors. Optional follow-up working sessions are available to support rollout and refinement.
